We started Cognition Lifting Systems with a simple goal – to bring the hoist into the digital era. We fundamentally believe that hoists still offer the greatest value in lifting and are capable of joining the Industry 4.0 pantheon of modern industrial equipment in ways that others have only imagined.

Along the way we realized that current hoist offerings are needlessly complicated and based on old paradigms of design and manufacturing. Instead of continuing to add an array of technology improvements to a product that was never designed for them, we developed a new way of designing and manufacturing a hoist that strips away cost and complexity while allowing a long list of standard features and is readily adaptable to a wide array of applications.  

The principals behind Cognition Lifting Systems have nearly a century between them in engineering, product development, and manufacturing operations with more than three decades in the overhead lifting market.
